Cemetery

      Friedens Cemetery is one of Troy's oldest cemeteries. We are currently the only cemetery in Troy with spaces available for purchase by the general public.
      We have three cemetery locations, with the main cemetery located on Route 162, 2 miles east of downtown Troy. Our other cemeteries are located on BlackJack Road, 5 miles south of Troy.

Rules and Regulations

  1. All plants and flowers shall be placed only at the head of the grave immediately against the monument or head stone.
  2. All Christmas decorations must be removed by March 1st.
  3. No trees, shrubs, or plants on lot.
  4. All foot stones shall be at ground level.
  5. No wall, fence, or cropping shall be placed around grave or lot.
  6. No glass containers.
  7. Only two flower vases per grave.
  8. No grave shall be opened on any lot if there are any unpaid charges against the lot that have been incurred by the lot owners.
